If your child is struggling in finding Factors and Multiples of a number. I have help coming up. Maths is not as difficult or confusing as you think! To make it better, I have plenty of resources for you.
Lets quickly understand Factors and Multiples
Factors are two numbers which multiply to get another number. Simply put, Factors of number 6 are 2 and 3.
The numbers you get after multiplying are Multiples. for eg; Multiples of number 3 are 3,6,9,12 so on and so forth
It has been commonly observed that children are unable to clearly express the meaning of Factors. They are introduced in grade 4 and have a wide application in mental maths.
To create a joyful learning environment for our little ones we have produced a three-part video series for understanding this concept.
This is Video 1. This series of videos will take the learner through all subtopics and trigger their inquisitive minds.
The concept here is explained through examples. As easy as it is to understand, the prerequisite to grasp is having multiplication tables on your tips.
